Little Wonders Academy โ€” Where Childhood Thrives
Preschool & Kindergarten ยท Est. 2009

Where every child's curiosity is the curriculum.

Little Wonders Academy is a place where children aged 2โ€“6 discover the world through play, creativity, and genuine human connection โ€” not worksheets.

18 : 1 Child-to-teacher ratio
97% Parent satisfaction score
15+ Years of nurturing growth
6 Specialist educators

Why Little Wonders

Not your average kindergarten.

Most early childhood centres run on routines and repetition. We believe children thrive when they're genuinely seen, heard, and trusted.

๐ŸŒฟ

Nature-led learning spaces

Our campus features a living garden, mud kitchen, and open-air classroom. Children learn science, math, and empathy outdoors โ€” not just inside four walls.

โœ๏ธ

Emergent curriculum

Lessons follow children's own questions and discoveries. A child's wonder about a snail becomes a week of science, storytelling, and art.

โค๏ธ

Social-emotional focus

Every educator is trained in trauma-informed care and positive discipline. We teach children how to name feelings, not suppress them.

๐ŸŒ

Multilingual environment

English, Hindi, and Telugu are woven naturally into daily life. Children absorb language from context, conversation, and stories โ€” not drills.

๐ŸŽจ

Dedicated arts & music studio

A fully equipped studio with clay, canvas, instruments, and a recording nook. Creativity is treated as a core subject, not a Friday afternoon filler.

๐Ÿ“Š

Transparent progress portfolios

Parents receive living digital portfolios โ€” photos, observations, and developmental notes โ€” updated weekly, not just at end-of-term report cards.

Our Story

Founded by teachers, for children.

Little Wonders Academy was started in 2009 by a group of early childhood educators who were tired of cookie-cutter classrooms. We built the school we always wished existed: warm, rigorous, and radically child-centred. Every decision โ€” from furniture height to nap schedules โ€” is made with the child's point of view first.

Meet the Team

Our teachers are the heart of everything.

Our Approach

Four pillars. One childhood.

Everything we do is grounded in decades of developmental research and the simple truth that children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and free to explore.

01

Play is learning

Unstructured and guided play is the primary mode of learning for children under six. We protect this time fiercely from academic pressure.

02

Relationships first

A secure attachment to a trusted adult is the foundation all learning rests on. Our low ratios ensure no child is invisible.

03

The child as expert

Children are competent, curious, and capable. We observe before we intervene, and follow their lead before imposing ours.

04

Community matters

Families are co-educators. We involve parents not as observers but as active partners in their child's learning story.

Families Speak

Heard from our community.

Don't take our word for it. These are the families who trusted us with the most important years of their children's lives.

"

My daughter used to cry every morning before school. Two weeks at Little Wonders and she was waking up early asking when it was time to go. The teachers genuinely know her โ€” her fears, her joys, what makes her laugh.

Meena Subramaniam

Parent of Aanya, age 4

"

As a paediatrician, I was sceptical of schools that avoid structured academics. But the research is clear โ€” and Little Wonders puts it into practice. My son is reading, curious, and emotionally articulate at 5. I couldn't ask for more.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€โš•๏ธ

Dr. Rahul Menon

Parent of Kiran, age 5

"

The weekly portfolio updates are unlike anything I've seen at other schools. I feel like I'm living alongside my son's school day. And the teachers remember to celebrate the small things โ€” his first full sentence in Telugu, his first time tying laces.
